Baby Bump Alert!

Kenny and I have been on quite opposite schedules the past couple of weeks thanks to night float. We have made time to see each other with frequent lunch dates when work schedules allow, but it is still not the same.  On Tuesday we finally had the opportunity for a date night.  After completing his marathon of working for 15 days straight, he had a day off! Yippee! So where else did we head?!  Clemson of course.  :-)

It is so nice to be in such close proximity to such a cool town.  While I did not attend Clemson, it will always hold a special place in my heart for obvious reasons. It is no secret that Kenny is a huge Clemson fan/alum and always will be.  He definitely LOVES the fact that we are so close to his Alma Mater.

We hit up Wingin' It for some grub and beers.  Well, I just got to smell the beer and Kenny got to enjoy them. The food was delicious and the trip to Clemson made for a perfect date night.

And so it begins...

The other day on the phone, my mom suggested I start a blog so loved ones can keep track of our lives and our growing family. So, after struggling to think of a blog title, we are here.

A Little Bit about the Title
These two things sum up a pretty big portion of my life: Husband and Baby. It is no secret to those who know us, that my husband is in love with his Jeep. While it is not his only hobby, it is a major one, and there are countless hours spent dreaming about his JEEP and what it will one day become. Diapers sort of explain themselves...that comes with the territory of mommy-hood.  I am currently cooking our first "bun in the oven" and preparing to be both a milk factory and diaper changing machine.

So, this is me, a simple girl, wife, mother, and teacher; setting out to document our lives as our family grows.  Hope you enjoy following us on our journey.
